Some News About Our Daughter...

Finally found out some news on Baby K - the orphanage she is in shares its space with an orphanage for deaf children. The babies are held all the time and classical music is played daily to stimulate the babies. The baby section has on average 20 babies at a time with 1 caregiver for every 2 babies. The babies sleep in beds with their caregivers. She is being well taken care of in Bac Ninh - a relief to us. Here's a picture of where she is living right now!

Still Waiting...

Almost 2 months since our CFC and no news with information on how to file our I-600 form! We are so eager for news and hoping that the New Year brings our daughter's paperwork from Bac Ninh to us for completion.

We Received our CFC!!

This blog will share our families journey to bring our daughter home from Vietnam! We received our CFC call on Friday, November 9, 2007.

Our beautiful daughter resides in Bac Ninh, Vietnam. She is 2 months old, has big eyes and lots of black hair. Our son Bradley says "she will be fun to play with when she gets older." We spent the weekend sharing her beautiful pictures with everyone we know!

We're still waiting for Baby K and need to figure out a name for her!! And, Bradley, our son, says how about Catherine for her name - we're still thinking about it...
